Join a team of specialists in fire protection. At BSB we work with passive fire protection across every kind of construction project, from refurbishment to new build. We help clients make sure their structures meet the safety standards and the legal requirements that apply to them.
What does the work involve?
As an installer you seal the openings where pipes, cables and ventilation ducts pass through walls, floor slabs and shafts, so that a fire cannot spread from one room to the next. The work includes:
- Firestopping of service penetrations through walls and floor slabs.
- Firestopping of service shafts and risers between floors.
- Linear joint seals in construction joints between building elements.
- Structural steel fire protection, so the steel keeps its load-bearing capacity in a fire.
You document your own work as you go, with photographs of the process, the materials and the finished result. It is skilled work that calls for care and precision, and we train you properly before you work on your own.
Where will you be working?
We are based in Kalundborg and our sites are spread across Zealand. We have had projects in Gentofte, Hillerød, Søborg and Slagelse alongside the large industrial plants around Kalundborg. The workplace follows the project, so expect to move to a new site when a job is finished.
